Are there any good fiction books that are based on a main character that has amnesia?

Preferably that have discovering the main character's identity as one of the main themes of the book. Also, what are some possible issues that a person dealing with amnesia could face in the United States? Just looking for some ideas, thanks! Are there any good fiction books that are based on a main character that has amnesia?
*Shadows %26amp; Lies by Marjorie Eccles

*Forget You by Jennifer Echols

*Memoirs of a Teenage Amnesiac by Gabrielle Zevin

*Kiss by Erin Healy

*Stolen by Vivian Vande Velde

*The Dark Garden by Margaret Buffie

*Amnesia by Sinclair Smith

*Dream Lover by Marilyn Kaye

*The Lost Mind by Christopher Pike
The Bourne Identity by Robert Ludlum, since you haven't mentioned what books you've already read.

ADDING: The movies' storylines are completely different from the books, actually, but the books do have loads of action in them. It's definitely my favorite book because he has amnesia and two different entities are chasing him, one trying to kill him and he thinks the other is trying to send him messages to come in, but he doesn't remember anything, so he keeps running to keep from being killed. Are there any good fiction books that are based on a main character that has amnesia?
Kat Got Your Tongue by Lee Weatherly

After a terrible car accident, Kat wakes up with no idea who she is, and no memory of anything before the crash. She doesn't even recognize her mum, much less her friends

The Raw Shark Texts by Steven Hall. It's a very bizarre but incredible book about a man whose memories are devoured by a conceptual fish.

I can't think of any right now but a YA (Young Adult) book, The Memoirs of a Teenage Amnesiac by Gabrielle Zevin. Eventually, she gets her memories back.
Remember me? - Sophie Kinsella

A young woman named Lexi bumps her head and wakes up three years later from her coma, slim and sexy, straight white teeth, lives in an extravagant loft and is married to a super multibillionaire hunk. And she remembers nothing of it.The book takes you on a journey with the facade of memory recovery, but mostly on a journey of self discovery.

The Bad Place - Dean Koontz

Frank can't remember who he is or where he's from. He does know that he is being chased, and when he's caught, it will kill him. He seeks the help of a private investigator team, husband and wife. Together, they are drawn into a whirlwind of murder, lies, and revenge. The cause: something terrible in Frank's past that threatens the future of all.

(The Drowning Man) Lost - Micheal Robothom

On a cold London night, homicide detective Vincent Ruiz is fished out of the Thames with a bullet in his leg and no memory of the circumstances surrounding the shooting. In his pocket is a photograph of Mickey Carlyle, a seven-year-old girl kidnapped three years before and presumed dead. It鈥檚 anybody's guess what Ruiz was up to鈥攅specially when a blood-spattered boat discovered nearby makes it clear that Ruiz was not the sole casualty. But with Mickey's killer convicted and behind bars, no one wants the case reopened. Ruiz's only hope of unravelling the puzzle is to retrace his steps and re-create the night of the shooting. Under investigation by his colleagues and accused of faking amnesia, Ruiz turns to Joe O'Loughlin, hoping that the psychologist can help unlock his memory. Step by step, the pieces come together, revealing a twisted trail of grief, vengeance, and the search for redemption.

I would recommend the Sophie Kinsella one the most, Its a really good book.

Im not really sure about your second point, what kind of issue's do you mean? So i'll put down a few website's that may help you.
