In the movies and books, sometimes a person will get amnesia. After they recover their memories of the past, does the person also retain information about their behavior/memories DURING their period of amnesia along with memories before they had amnesia, or not?Amnesia--What information is forgotten/retained after the person has recovered memory?
One of my friends had a concussion and had amnesia for a week or so.
She remembered bits and pieces of that week, but not everything.
She didn't remember anything withing five hours before and after the accident occured.
However, I don't know if this is a typical case.
